AAHOA Gives $5,000 for Nepal Quake Relief

Tuesday, May 19, 2015 – IN THE WAKE of the devastating earthquake in Nepal, AAHOA has donated $5,000 to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts. The association is asking members to follow its example and contribute to an ongoing effort to help the under-developed and devastated nation. A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Nepal on April 25, killing 8,000 people and wounding more than 20,000, according to reports. An additional 72 people were reported dead in India, and 25 were reported dead in China.
